Talented Nigerian Afro Soul and R&B songbird, Amaeya is dropping her first single of 2025, "How Do You?". The highly anticipated track sees the talented vocalist and songwriter recount an experience of betrayal and heartbreak, prompting her to ask the very important question “How do you sleep at night?” which forms part of the hook. 

Produced by Mr Soul, "How Do You?" features laid back production which allows Amaeya’s soulful melodies & captivating vocals shine, culminating in a beautiful listening experience for every good music lover.

The inspiration behind "How Do You?" is a familiar story of giving your all to somebody just for them to throw it back in your face. Through heartfelt lyrics and an emotive vocal performance, it’s a song that everyone who has been through one form of heartbreak or another would definitely be able to relate to.

"How Do You?" is the story of a mind in flux & a heart in chaos brimming with questions and confusion. "I felt deep sadness. The only way to handle these feelings was to write them down. It's like the words I couldn't speak finally found their voice on paper. ‘I wasn't done loving you; I had so much more love to give’ is what I want to say”, says Amaeya.

Amaeya, who dropped her debut EP “Like a Flower” in 2024 and featured on Chike and Olamide’s “One Day”record, is looking to get the ball rolling in 2025 for what is expected to be a busy second half of the year for the talented artist.
